1. Who processes your data
This notice describes personal data handled by the paperxtrade website. For questions about the operator, or to make a privacy request, use the support contact form.
2. Data we collect
Account records include email, password hash, display name, language, verification status, account settings and sign-in records. Practice records include virtual orders, positions, trades, wallet events, rewards, journal entries and watchlists.
Community records include profiles, follows, reviews, comments, messages, groups, reports and notifications. Support submissions include your email, topic, message and request reference.
Technical information may include requests, security logs and error or performance diagnostics when monitoring is enabled. Demo progress, chart settings, annotations, workspace layout and other preferences can be stored in your browser.
3. Why we process it
Data is used to provide accounts and the simulation, store your records and preferences, deliver account emails, operate social features, respond to support, and prevent abuse. Email and credentials are required for an account; the demo can be used without registration.
Applicable grounds depend on the processing and jurisdiction, including providing the requested service, security and service integrity, and legal obligations. Consent is required where applicable for optional processing; using the site is not blanket consent to marketing or tracking.
4. Cookies and local storage
pt_session keeps you signed in; NEXT_LOCALE remembers your selected language. Browser storage also keeps demo progress and preferences. See the cookies and storage page for purposes and controls. Clearing local data can erase unsynchronized practice records.
5. Sharing and market-data vendors
Public profiles, rankings, posts and comments may show your display name and virtual activity. Direct and group messages are shared with the relevant participants and stored by the service; they should not be treated as end-to-end encrypted.
Hosting, database and email services process information needed to provide the product. If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile handles anti-abuse checks and Sentry receives error or performance diagnostics. Market quote requests are made through the configured data service. Contact support for deployment-specific provider details.
6. Retention
Account, simulation, messaging and support records remain in the service database while needed for operation, security and request handling. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion date for every record or backup. Contact support about account closure, retention or a deletion request.
The sign-in cookie expires after fourteen days. Browser data normally remains until cleared by you or your browser; it is not removed just by signing out.
7. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Account settings include an export of supported account records.
Send requests through the support contact form and identify the account and requested action. We may need to verify your identity. You may complain to the applicable data protection authority, including the ICO in the UK or Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu in Türkiye. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
8. International transfers and children
Infrastructure and appointed providers may operate outside your country. Ask support for the current hosting locations, recipients and any applicable transfer safeguards; this notice does not certify a particular transfer mechanism.
The service is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child’s data has been submitted, contact support. Automated virtual scoring and trade processing do not create a real-money investment decision on your behalf.
9. Changes
We will change the date at the top of this notice when the practices change in a material way. Significant changes will be highlighted in the product when practical.
These pages describe how paperxtrade works today. They are product terms, not a substitute for advice from a licensed lawyer in your country.
