Data & methodology

How quotes, simulated orders and performance numbers should be read.

Last updated 2 October 2026

Quotes and availability

Market prices are supplied through the site’s configured data service. Instruments may have different sources, trading sessions and update times. Check source, freshness and session indicators in the workspace. A displayed quote is not a promise that a real venue will execute at that price.

Simulated execution

A market order uses an eligible quote under the simulation’s rules. A limit order waits for the applicable price condition; protective levels and liquidation are processed by the simulation. Virtual fees and funding can affect the result.

The demo evaluates pending orders and risk while it is running in your browser. Closing the tab or losing usable quotes can pause that processing. Account trading depends on the availability of its server engine and may be disabled even when display prices are visible.

Leverage, equity and performance

Exposure is the virtual margin multiplied by leverage; changes in price affect the larger exposure. Available balance accounts for reserved margin. Equity includes the balance and supported open-position valuation.

Performance and leaderboards reflect the app’s simulation and time window. Deposits of virtual rewards, resets, fees and open positions can affect comparisons. A ranking does not establish skill or predict future returns.

Limitations and corrections

Real trading involves spreads, liquidity, partial fills, slippage, outages and emotional pressure that a simulator cannot reproduce in full. Use quotes for learning, not for decisions involving real money.

If a quote or record looks wrong, contact support with the symbol, time, page and a description. Avoid including credentials or unrelated personal information.
