“Market data delayed” and “Market closed” explained

A quote older than 15 seconds freezes trading on that symbol, and forex, metals and stocks also follow real session hours.
Market data delayed
A quote is considered stale once it is more than 15 seconds old. While a symbol is stale the engine refuses new market orders and freezes stop-loss, take-profit, liquidation and funding for it. Closing a position also needs a fresh price, so wait for the feed to catch up.
Market closed
Session hours apply only to instruments on a live source. Forex and metals are closed from Friday 21:00 UTC to Sunday 21:00 UTC. US stocks trade 09:30–16:00 America/New_York on weekdays. Crypto never closes.
While a session is closed you cannot send a market order on that instrument, but you can leave a limit order resting: it fills once the session reopens and the price reaches your level.
Market unavailable
This means no quote has arrived for the symbol yet. It usually clears within a second or two of opening the terminal; if it persists, the source may be parked and the symbol will switch to simulation shortly.
The terminal polls quotes every second, candles every four seconds and the book every two. Polling pauses while the browser tab is hidden, so a backgrounded tab can show one stale tick until you return to it.
